Unlocking Your Inner PowerThis occasional update from me to you includes practical tips from my areas of expertise including: human design, leadership for introverts (Quiet Leaders), coaching, mental fitness, productivity & habit formation, burnout & stress, imposter syndrome, and marketing & sales. I hope you enjoy and find value in it. PS - I'm a human design Generator which means I'm wired to work in response (not to initiate), and so this newsletter format is, essentially, designed in response. It's inspired by the newsletters of two of my favorite thought leaders, Mark Manson and Ellen Finkelstein. Naturally I highly recommend checking theirs' out too. |
ONE THING FOR YOU TO THINK ABOUT Embrace the simplicity of self-evident truths in life. When something truly resonates with your soul, you won't need to question its presence. Whether it's happiness, love, success, or health, if it's genuinely there, you'll feel it without a doubt. Instead of overcomplicating life, acknowledge the simplicity of the nature of these things, and let it guide you on your journey. Reflect: Share this thought with others and inspire them to embrace self-evident truths as well. THREE THINGS FOR YOU TO ASK YOURSELF
Recommended: Use these questions as journaling prompts for the week and watch your inner growth unfold. *If you don't know your Human Design or Gene Keys yet, you can start your journey with those amazing systems by clicking here: <insert a link> ONE THING FOR YOU TO TRY THIS WEEK Embrace the art of letting go. In an area of your life where you're anxious to achieve success, love, or happiness, try releasing your tight grip for a while. Though it may seem counterintuitive, surrendering your need for control can actually bring you closer to your desires. As an example, I recently found myself struggling to develop a book idea that felt "good enough." After months (and months) of brainstorming and outlining and writing, I decided to stop trying so hard, and instead I asked myself, "What do I truly feel like writing? What's the book I would love to read right now that hasn't been written?" Within 30 minutes, I had an idea and a loose outline that resonated with me more than anything I had worked on in the past six months. Remember: Small shifts in perspective can lead to significant breakthroughs. Let go of the need for perfection and allow your inner wisdom to guide you. As an introverted (or ambiverted) leader or coach, it's likely that you're familiar with the pressure to constantly be productive, to always be "on," and to never take a break. In fact, our culture tends to reward and celebrate overworking, even though it's counterproductive and leads to burnout and stress. Hello again Reader, As someone who is interested in helping introverted leaders navigate the challenges of anxiety, stress & depression, Imposter Syndrome, and lack of confidence, I wanted to share with you some insights I’ve gained on the importance of visibility.
